After downloading a Proposal, you may spend some time making edits and tailoring it to the Employer’s specific needs. This can be a manual and time-consuming process, especially if you the same edits to every proposal.
However, you can simplify and streamline this process using Proposal Templates. With Proposal Templates, you can choose what information is included in the Proposal output, how that information is organized, and even the color scheme. Set up as many templates as you need and use them with any Employer.

Preview
When complete, you can actually preview your template before you use it on an Employer. Simply select the ‘Preview’ button right above the Output section.
Your preview Proposal will generate as an Excel® file and you should see it appear where all downloaded items appear from your browser.
This preview mode will not contain any Carrier specific data, but it will show you how Carrier data will be displayed.
We recommend reviewing your enhanced Proposal through the preview process to ensure that everything looks the way you want it to before you generate it for your Employers.
Edit an existing Proposal Template
It is fairly easy to edit an existing enhanced template. From Proposal Templates, you will see a list of all enhanced templates you previously created. Select the ‘Edit’ button – shaped like a pencil – under the Actions menu to edit a specific template.
Then, you can adjust anything that you need from the order of products to the header colors.
You must save to ensure that all changes are added to your template. And you can also preview the changes.
Viewing your enhanced Proposal for an Employer
Once your enhanced Proposal is complete, you can view it for any current and future Employer through the normal Proposal process in the Generate Proposal step.
When you get to the Generate Proposal page, select the 'Proposal' dropdown menu. This will allow you to select either the generic template or your enhanced template’s name. In this case, select your enhanced template’s name.
Then you can see your enhanced Proposal with real data for your Employer, and you can provide it to your contact for further review.
