How to add and edit classes on an Employer record
You can add and edit Employee Classes at the Employer record level. This is ideal for defining standard classes that will carry over into Proposals and Enrollment.
Steps:
- Go to the Employer Listing.
- Find the Employer, then select the pencil icon to enter the Employer Hub.
- In the Employer Hub, select the ‘Employer’ link to access the Employer Info page.
- In the Employer Information section, find the Employee Classes section.
- Add, edit, or remove classes as needed.
- Select the ‘Update’ button to save and apply your changes.
Classes created and edited here are automatically available in Proposals and Enrollments.
Tip: You can also define Employee Classes when adding a new Employer record from the Employer Listing.
How to add and edit classes in a Proposal
You can also manage Employee Classes while working inside a Proposal on Step 1: Employer Basics.
- Go to the Employer Listing.
- Find the Proposal, then select the pencil icon to open it.
- In the Proposal, go to Step 1: Employer Basics.
- Find the Employee Classes section, and add, edit, or remove classes as needed.
- Select the ‘Save & Continue’ button to save and apply your changes.
How to remove an Employee Class
You can remove a class from the Employer Hub > Employer Information page or from Step 1: Employer Basics in a Proposal. To do so, select the trashcan icon next to the class.
Things to consider before removing a class:
- You can’t remove a class if at least one Employee is assigned to it. You must remove all Employees from a class to remove it.
- If you remove all employees from a class, you can delete the class. Even if a class isn’t removed from products in an Enrollment, if there are no employees assigned to the class, then no one will see any of the products assigned to the class.
