Overview
After defining and adding Employee Classes to an Employer record, you can assign products to specific classes in both Proposals and Enrollments. In Enrollment, you can also set pricing and employer contributions per class.

Assign classes to current products in a Proposal
After finishing the Employee Coverage Lines step of a Proposal, you can add current products for comparison on the Products step.
On the Current Products screen, add the Employer’s current plans. In the Eligibility field of each product, select the Employee Classes that apply. The default selection is “Everyone”.
After adding the client’s current products, save and return to the Products step.
Note: Assigning classes here makes proposal comparisons reflect the correct class eligibility.
Assign classes to renewal and new products in a Proposal
On the Products step of a Proposal, search and select for products to offer. After selecting a new product or a renewal product, assign it to an Employee Class in the Eligibility field. The default selection is “Everyone”.
Save and continue to generate the proposal.
Assign products by class in an Enrollment
In the Enrollment Hub, go to the Manage Products page to add and assign products to different Employee Classes.
- Edit an Employer in the Employer Listing to open the Employer Hub.
- In the Employer Hub, select the ‘Enrollment’ link.
- In the Enrollment Listing, add new or select an existing Enrollment to access the Enrollment Hub.
- In the Enrollment Hub, go to Manage Products and select the ‘Assign Products’ button.
- Search and select the product.
- Choose Employee Classes for the product.
The default selection is "Everyone”.
- Assign.
Each class-product pairing appears as its own line item.
Set pricing and employer contributions by class in an Enrollment
For each class-product line item in Manage Products:
- Open Pricing and set the appropriate rates.
- Open Employer Contribution and set class-specific contribution details.
Employees in each class will see the correct product, pricing, and contributions in the Employee Portal during Plan Selection.
