Assisted Enrollment
Assisted Enrollment replaces Group Plan Assign with one screen that handles an entire group's enrollment start to finish, cutting down the back-and-forth and follow-up fixes that come with today's process. It calculates pricing automatically, enforces carrier waive rules, and keeps dependent data in sync with Quote+, so there's less manual double-checking after the fact.
- Ancillary coverage, fully built in: Life, LTD/STD, and Critical Illness are selectable and priced right alongside Medical, Dental, and Vision, without a separate setup step.
- Pricing calculates itself: whether a plan is priced by age band, salary multiple, or coverage increment, the cost updates automatically as selections are made, with no manual math required.
- Eligibility follows Employee Classes: set up classes for a group, and each employee only sees the products they actually qualify for, automatically.
- Waiving that follows carrier rules: children waive together the way carriers require it, and coverage the employer has marked required won't be able to be accidentally waived.
- Stage a group's existing coverage before anyone logs in: assign products, including historical, back-dated selections, to employees who haven't created a FormFire account yet.
- Dependents stay in sync with Quote+: dependents entered in Quote+ carry through to FormFire and update in near real time.
- A safe way to undo a mistake: remove an incorrectly added product through a guided flow built to keep other employees' coverage from being affected.
- Life events, handled either way: employees can still self-serve a qualifying life event, or a broker can step in and complete it on their behalf when needed.

Improved
Quote+ visual enhancements
A single, coordinated set of visual updates spans navigation, search and filtering, status indicators, feedback and error prevention, layout, and accessibility.

Navigation and finding your way around
The sidebar and top bar now clearly show Quote+ branding, your name and role, and exactly which page you're on, with clickable breadcrumbs the whole way. You can always tell where you are and get back to any previous page in one click, instead of hunting through inconsistent markers.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| The sidebar had no product branding. | The sidebar shows the Quote+ logo, with an icon-only version when collapsed. |
| No user profile appeared in the sidebar. | The user's initials, name, and role appear at the bottom, with a link to their profile. |
| The current page was marked only by a subtle icon change. | The active page is clearly marked with an accent bar and highlight. |
| Breadcrumbs were inconsistent from page to page. | Every page shows a consistent breadcrumb trail, and each crumb is clickable to move back up. |
| The sidebar collapse control floated on its own. | The collapse control sits within the user section, where users expect it. |
Searching and filtering lists
Search now narrows results as you type instead of requiring a button click, and filters are always visible instead of hidden behind a toggle. Status filters switch with a single click, and one Reset button clears everything at once, so finding any record takes far fewer steps.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Search required clicking a button or pressing Enter, and some lists had no search at all. | Results narrow automatically as the user types, and search is available across lists. |
| Filters were often hidden behind a "Show Filters" toggle. | Filters are always visible above the list. |
| Status filtering meant opening a dropdown, scrolling, and selecting. | Status switches with a single click using filter pills, with the active filter clearly highlighted. |
| Clearing filters meant resetting each field by hand. | A single Reset button clears search, dates, and status filters together. |
| The location filter gave little sense of what was selected. | The location filter shows a count of active selections and a clear button. |
Reading status at a glance
Status that used to appear as plain text, like Active/Inactive, MHQ status, and relation type, now shows as color-coded badges, and dates carry relative, urgency-coded labels like "in 5 days" or "Due today." You can spot what needs attention, upcoming renewals, incomplete MHQs, closing enrollments, without opening records one by one.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Active/Inactive, enrollment status, and employee MHQ status appeared as plain text. | These now appear as color-coded badges (for example, MHQ status: Complete, Updating, Not Started, No Account). |
| Renewals had no visual indicator. | Renewals are color-coded so upcoming ones stand out. |
| Effective and enrollment dates showed the raw date only. | Dates display in a readable format (for example, "Jun 11, 2026") with a color-coded relative label such as "in 5 days," "Due today," or "3 days ago." |
| Relation type (Employee, Spouse, Child) was plain text. | Relation type is shown as a distinct badge. |
Clearer feedback and fewer errors
Pages now show loading placeholders and guided empty states instead of blank tables, and save actions confirm progress with a spinner. Error-prone spots, like favoriting inactive employers or typing salary as plain text, are fixed or prevented outright, and row actions are grouped into a single menu instead of scattered icons.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Lists showed a blank table while loading. | Lists show placeholder rows while loading, so the layout does not jump when data arrives. |
| Empty lists showed a bare table or "No Records Found." | Empty lists show a guided message with a suggested next action, and distinguish "no data yet" from "no search results." |
| Favoriting an inactive employer could cause an error. | Favoriting is disabled on inactive employers, preventing the error. |
| Salary was a plain text field. | Salary formats automatically as currency, reducing entry errors on large numbers. |
| Save buttons gave no feedback. | Save buttons show a spinner and "Saving..." while in progress. |
| Unavailable actions appeared as confusing grayed-out icons. | Unavailable actions simply do not appear, removing dead controls. |
| Row actions were several inline icons, easy to click by accident. | Row actions are grouped into a single menu per row with labeled options. |
Wide-screen layout and readability
List pages now expand to fill wide monitors, with key columns like name and actions pinned in place while you scroll sideways through wide tables. Dates are standardized and easier to read, so there's less scrolling and less hunting for the column you need.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Fixed-width layouts left unused space on wide screens. | List pages expand to use the full width of large displays. |
| Date formats were inconsistent. | Dates are standardized to a readable format with consistent input masks. |
| Wide tables required awkward horizontal scrolling. | Key columns (row number, checkbox, name, actions) stay in place while scrolling sideways, so context stays visible. |
Performance and reliability
Pages load faster thanks to lighter assets and smarter loading, and search now waits until you pause typing instead of firing repeated requests. The app feels more responsive overall, and results stay accurate instead of getting overwritten by stale ones.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Full-page spinners blocked the view during loads. | Lighter, per-section loading gives a faster perceived load with no layout shift. |
| Pages carried heavier assets. | Leaner pages load faster. |
| Search could fire redundant requests and return stale results. | Search waits until the user pauses typing, reducing unnecessary load and preventing stale results from overwriting fresh ones. |
Accessibility: Quote+ now meets WCAG AA accessibility standards, so anyone who relies on a keyboard or screen reader can operate the full application.
Group Plan Assign
For groups whose enrollment is set up through Quote+, the Add Plan and Trash buttons are no longer available on the Group Plan Assign screen. This keeps plan setup in Quote+ so it stays in sync, ahead of that functionality moving fully to Assisted Enrollment.
