Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds another layer of security to your Broker account. When logging in, your primary email address will receive a verification code. Enter the code as a second check to make sure it's really you.

Turning on 2FA
- In the top right-hand corner of Quote+, select your name, then choose Profile & settings from the dropdown menu.
- Checkmark the Enable Two Factor Authentication box.
- Review the confirmation message and select Yes.
The next time you log in, a 6-digit verification code will be sent to the primary email address on your account. You will be prompted to enter this code to log in.
If you want to receive verification codes to be sent to a mobile phone, add and verify your mobile phone number.
Logging in with 2FA
When logging in to your Broker account, you will enter your username and password as usual. Shortly after submitting your login credentials, a 6-digit verification code will be sent to the primary email address on your account. Enter the code to continue and log in to your account.
Keep in mind, you’ll have up to 10 minutes to enter your verification code. The email you receive will look like this:
If you enter an expired or invalid code, a new “Switch to mobile” link will appear. You can select this link to send the code to your mobile phone (if you added and verified it in your account profile).
Turning off 2FA
- In the top right-hand corner of Quote+, select your name, then choose Profile & settings from the dropdown menu.
- Uncheckmark the Enable Two Factor Authentication box.
- Review the confirmation message and select Yes.
From this point moving forward, Quote+ will stop sending you 6-digit verification codes, and you will not be prompted to enter any codes to log in.
