This article guides Brokers through managing email notifications in Quote+. You’ll learn how to access your Broker notification settings and review six types of notifications. By the end, you’ll know exactly where to go and how to turn these alerts on or off so you never miss an important update.

Accessing your Broker notification settings
Follow these steps to upload and apply your logo:
- In the top-right corner of Quote+, select your name, then choose ‘Profile & Settings’ from the menu.
- On the Profile > Profile tab, select the ‘Manage Notifications’ button.
- A list of notifications appears with checkboxes.
- Mark a box to turn a notification on or clear it to turn the notification off.
- Select the ‘Save’ button when finished to apply changes.
Notification types
Carrier
Carrier notifications inform you when a carrier submission is sent or fails. We recommend checking both options to reduce unnecessary notifications.
Client
Client notifications keep you informed about key milestones in a client's enrollment journey, such as plan selection, new client additions, and group enrollment completions. Many brokers prefer to receive a notification when a client completes enrollment so they know it's time to take the next step.
If that applies to you, be sure to check the box for "A client completes enrollment”.
Employee
Employee notifications keep you informed of key actions and changes related to employees, such as terminations, application sign-offs, and benefit updates.
Important notifications to consider enabling under the Employee section of Notification Settings:

A user signs off on a QLE ancillary application: Alerts you when an employee requests a benefit change outside of Open Enrollment for ancillary lines of coverage (e.g., dental, life, STD, LTD).
- Note: This notification applies only to Employers with ancillary coverage lines. For Employers offering Medical coverage, use "A user signs off on their application" to receive QLE change alerts.
- Coverage change notification: Receive an email when an employee updates their coverage outside of Open Enrollment.
- Qualifying Life Event Change Notification: Get notified when an employee logs a Qualifying Life Event such as marriage, birth, or loss of other coverage.
My Account
My Account notifications alert you to important activity and updates related to your account and brokerage.
These include actions like completing enrollment, signing applications, updating account details, changes to account access levels, license usage limits, and system-wide changes or upgrades.
Transfers
Transfers notifications keep you informed when clients, employees, or companies move between brokerages.
These alerts help you track when a client transfers to your brokerage or to another, when an employee is transferred, and when a broker transfer is completed or canceled.
