New National Producer Number (NPN) field
Some Carriers, including UnitedHealthcare (UHC), require a National Producer Number (NPN) to quote medically underwritten products. To support this, we added an NPN field to Broker accounts. As more Carriers adopt this requirement, we will continue to ensure seamless compliance.
Social Security Number no longer required for adding Employees
To speed up the quoting process, Social Security Numbers (SSNs) are no longer required when adding or importing Employees into Quote+. However, Employees will still be prompted to enter their SSN when completing the Medical Health Questionnaire (MHQ).
Employee validation moved in Proposal process
With this update, you can now skip adding Employees in Step 2 - Employee Demographics of the Proposal process if you don’t have an Employee list. However, a Proposal must still include at least one Employee to run quotes on Step 5 - Products.
Employees will be automatically added to the system once they create accounts and complete the Medical Health Questionnaire (MHQ).creating their account, they will automatically be added to the system, making it unnecessary to add all of them up front.
